2009 Balmacara round 7
With the weather favorable, 26 riders hit the cracking trails at Balmacara on Sunday 8th of march. Race organizer Hendry McNicol was thwarted by a puncture as were another 5 riders. Kenta Gallagher won the race with a hefty margin on the second rider in, Gavin Shirley. Ben Miller continued with his quest to beat the oldies, finishing 8th despite being a junior, well done. Corina Mac Donald had a good race on the short course finishing first and enjoying the great views afforded by this lovely area. Thanks to Mrs Glasgow for timing and Hendry and co for setting out the course.
Next and final race of the series is on Sunday 19th of April at Leanachan with prize giving and BBQ afterwards. All welcome.
